found a new haunt in hudson wi that my wife and I went to. the wait was a bit long, but the haunt was fun. they actually walk you through the woods instead of putting you on a hayride so it's much scarier. plus volunteers run it and they give the money to charity so it's a cool event to support. looking forward to going back next season.

The Soap Factory

I've been to the Soap Factory before and was expect it to be just as scary in 2010. The last time I went it was creepy and disturbing. Sadly this year it's not as good. This year they are not allowed to touch you and it feels like they've toned it down a lot. The performers are doing their best but there's nothing you wouldn't see in any other haunted house. It's more irritating than scary. I don't like corn or whatever it was dumped on me and the maze was just annoying. I'm ok since it's a fundraiser for the Soap Factory gallery which ROCKS but otherwise it's expensive for what you get.

there are 4 haunted houses here and they are all and kinda lame and not very original. the pirate one is ok though. but its neat because you can go on all the rides at night thats the best time and theres no queues.
