Places to Buy Designer Jeans in Minneapolis and St. Paul

1. Elodie, Woodbury

Elodie, in the Woodbury Lakes shopping center, has a wall of women's designer denim, and just about everything you need to acessorise your jeans. There is a large selection of moderately priced designer clothing, mostly tops and shirts, accessories, and jewelry from local designers.

2. Stephanie's, St. Paul and Edina

The original Stephanie's store is in Highland Park, and a second location opened in Edina in 2008. As well as major denim brands, there are coats, accessories, and party dresses.

3. Hot Mama, Several Twin Cities Locations

Several locations in the Twin Cities cater to women, rather than teenagers. Hot Mama stores are best known for their excellent selection of maternity clothes, but the majority of the store carries regular clothes including the best-known designer denim. The staff here know their stuff, and are very helpful in finding you the best-fitting pair of jeans they have.

4. Stella, Stillwater

Stella carries the latest designer jeans, hand-picked by the denim-obsessed owners, as well as bath and body products, clothing and shoes.

5. Bluebird Boutique, Edina

This store looks like it belongs in Los Angeles, but instead it's in the 50th and France shopping district in Edina. Designer denim mixes with the latest west coast labels at this popular store.

6. Covered, Dinkytown and Uptown

The tiny Dinkytown location and the new, larger Uptown location of Covered specialize in designer jeans, plus a reasonably-priced selection of designer clothes. The Uptown location stocks men's jeans in addition to women's brands.

7. Len Druskin

There's a Len Druskin store at the Galleria in Edina, selling men's and women's designer clothes and shoes, and a men's-only store in Gaviidae Common in downtown Minneapolis. The stores have plenty of designer denim, designer clothing and shoes, all arranged by style to make picking outfits almost too easy.

8. Department Stores

Downtown Minneapolis and the Mall of America are where to shop for designer jeans at department stores. Nordstrom, at the Mall of America, Neiman Marcus, on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis, and selected Macy's stores, including the Macy's on Nicollet Mall and at MOA, carry men's and women's designer denim.

9. Bargain Designer Denim

Next door to Neiman Marcus last call in Gaviidae Common mall, Saks Off 5th carries last season's jeans at about half-price.

Nordstrom Rack

At the Mall of America. All the major brands usually end up here at the end of the season. The store also occasionally has factory-irregular items at even lower prices.
