Sporting events are held at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The center is host to events like dance competitions, volleyball tournaments, and the North Star Rollergirls skate their roller derby bouts at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Getting to the Minneapolis Convention Center
The Minneapolis Convention Center is on Second Avenue and 12th Street in downtown Minneapolis. It is connected by skyway to several hotels and attractions in downtown Minneapolis.
Metro Transit buses serve the Minneapolis Convention Center. Route 11 southbound services serve the Minneapolis Convention Center directly, and routes 10, northbound 11, 17, 18 and 25 run within a block of the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Parking at the Minneapolis Convention Center
The Minneapolis Convention Center is convenient to drive to, it is right by the intersection of I-35W and I-94. There is an underground parking ramp opposite the Minneapolis Convention Center, connected to the center by tunnels. Parking costs $4 per hour, or $16 for 3-12 hours.The Leamington ramp and Marquette ramp are one block further away, are connected to the Minneapolis Convention Center by skyway, and cost $9.50 for 2.5-12 hours.
There are several other parking ramps in walking distance to the Minneapolis Convention Center, and connected to the Minneapolis Convention Center by skyway.
