Guide Review - The Matchbox Coffee Shop, Northeast Minneapolis

Matchbox Coffee is a co-operatively run coffee shop in Northeast Minneapolis.

Matchbox Coffee lovingly brews organic coffee, homemade muffins and cookies, and locally made sandwiches. They don't charge extra for the vegan version of ice cream or for substituting soy milk in coffee. There's also a discount if you bring your own takeout cup.

And the name? It's a tiny place, with exactly one table, and one more outside in the summer months.

It's less than a block from Northeast Minneapolis' 13th Street Art Avenue and a great place to get a cup of organic coffee before or after browsing the nearby galleries.
