And appropriately so: this is a true hole in the wall, a proper dive restaurant, serving up hotdogs, burgers, and all-day breakfasts.
They also have hotdog-burger hybrids, and breakfast hotdogs, and breakfasts with sausage as an ingredient, which covers all combinations if you can't decide between two of the three major menu categories. There does not seem to be a hotdog-breakfast-burger, although there are plenty of varieties of extra meat to add to your breakfast order. These guys care about your carnivorous needs, and in keeping with the something-for-everyone attitude, also have vegetarian and vegan substitutions for meat in breakfasts and hotdogs.
How are the hotdogs? Classic old-fashioned, thick skinned dogs, and plenty of varieties for toppings, from traditional to indigestion-inducing to blazing hot. Joy, for any hotdog lover.
The fries are phenomenal, and sold in functional quantities of one potato's worth, or two potatoes. Freshly cut, fried and seasoned, it's simply torture waiting for them to cool enough to dig in.
The Wienery is cash-only. And contrary to their late-night appearance, They close at 8 p.m. so if you are in the West Bank for evening events, plan to go before your show.
