On St. Patrick's Day, St. Paul is by far the most Irish of the Twin Cities, although Minneapolis has a good number of St. Patrick's Day events. Here's where to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in St. Paul, Minneapolis and around the Twin Cities.

St. Patrick's Day Parades

The biggest St. Patrick's Day event is the annual St. Patrick's Day parade. The parade begins at noon on St. Patrick's day in downtown St. Paul, winding up in Rice Park.

And in the evening, there is a second St. Patrick' Day parade in downtown Minneapolis on St. Patrick's Day evening. At 6.30 p.m. the parade begins on Nicollet Mall at 13th Street, heading up the mall to 5th Street.

March 17th: IMDA's St. Patrick's Day Celebration The Irish Music and Dance Association present their annual St. Patrick's Day celebration. annual event. Live music, Celtic dancing, Irish food and Irish vendors at the Landmark Center in St. Paul from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tickets are $6, $4 for children and seniors.

March 17: O'Garas St. Patrick's Day Celebrations This St. Paul bar, and adjacent venue O'Gara's Garage, add on a tent and host Irish musicians, entertainers for an all-day party, which includes and the self-proclaimed "World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade" through the bar at 3 p.m..
