The biggest event of the summer, the Minnesota State Fair, opened on August 25, and runs until Labor Day, September 5.
The Minnesota Renaissance Festival, held annually in Shakopee, is a lot of fun for families with all kinds of live entertainment and colorful characters to watch. The festival is open every weekends in September, and Labor Day.
Free outdoor concerts are in their last month across Minneapolis, St. Paul and the Metro area.
Labor Day is September 5.
