Minnesota Renaissance Festival
Did summer go as fast for you as it did for me? We've still got another month of warm weather so here's what events and festivals in Minneapolis, St. Paul and the Twin Cities metro area in September are happening to make the most of the last month of summer, but fall festivals are starting up this month - get excited about corn mazes, apple cider and hayrides!

The biggest event of the summer, the Minnesota State Fair, opened on August 27, and runs until September 7.

The Minnesota Renaissance Festival, held annually in Shakopee, is a lot of fun for families with all kinds of live entertainment and colorful characters to watch. The festival is open every weekends in September, and Labor Day.

Free outdoor concerts are in their last month across Minneapolis, St. Paul and the Metro area.

Labor Day is September 7.
