July 15 - July 18: Deep Blues Festival. This year the festival is in town: the 331 Club and the Cabooze in Minneapolis hosts the blues music and film festival over this weekend.
July 16 - July 18: Spirit of the Lakes Festival of the Arts has parades, music, art and crafts, food, boats, and fireworks in Mound.
July 16 - July 18: Wannigan Days in Taylors Falls has street dancing, boat cruises, and family entertainment.
July 17, July 18, July 19: Highland Fest in St. Paul has live music, carnival rides, food, a beer tent, a juried art fair, and plenty of entertainment.
July 17 - July 25: The Aquatennial. Minneapolis has the Twin Cities' major summer event with the Aquatennial, over 50 events such as parades, fireworks, and water-based racing, boating, fun and games. Highlights of the festival are the free Aquatennial Block Party on Nicollet Mall on July 17, the torchlight parade on July 22 and the fireworks finale on July 25.
July 17 - July 19: Rivertown Days. the whole of Hastings celebrates with a music festival, parade, carnival, river races, sports events and fireworks.
July 18: Rondo Days Festival. Thousands gather annual for this festival, which has a grand parade, drill team competition, and family activities.
July 18 and 19: Falcon Heights Country Festival has music, crafts, kid's games, homemade ice cream, and plenty of wholesome 1800s-style fun. At the Gibbs Museum, and hosted by the Ramsey County Historical Society.
