July 4 - July 11: Pan-O-Prog continues in Lakeville with plenty of sporting events, music and family fun.
July 8 - July 12: Karl Oskar Days is Chisago County's largest community celebration, honoring it's Swedish heritage. Arts and crafts, a pie baking contest, a parade, and fireworks.
July 9 - July 12: Monticello Riverfest is one of the largest summer art festivals, and there's entertainment too with a parade and family events.
July 9 - July 12: Maple Grove Days has fireworks, in case the ones on the Fourth weren't enough, plus a parade, music, car show, sporting events, animals, fun stuff like bed races and a Duct Tape fashion show and contest.
July 10 and July 11: Basilica Block Party. The 15th annual music festival and party at the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis is a fundraiser for the church. National and local acts play the popular festival.
July 11: Anoka Riverfest and Craft Fair is one of the largest summer craft events. Free boat rides on the Rum and Mississippi rivers, car show, music and family activities in downtown Anoka.
July 11 - July 12: Dragon Festival. The Asian Pacific Heritage Festival at St. Paul's Lake Phalen is Minnesota's largest Pan-Asian cultural festival. Dragon boat racing, children's activities, and performances. Free.
July 11 - July 19: Hopkins Raspberry Festival. the self-declared "America's Raspberry Capital" holds raspberry events, a parade, fireworks and pays court to the Raspberry Royal Family. Most events are in Downtown Hopkins.
July 12: 76th Annual Norway Day fills Minnehaha Park with music, singing, a children's parade, and Norwegian food.
July 12: Bastille Day at Barbette's is a free celebration of France's Bastille Day. Live music, a flea market, food and drink, and all things French in Uptown Minneapolis.
