Thursdays in July: Marketfest is the free family festival continues all this month with free music, art and crafts, and car shows on Thursday evenings in downtown White Bear Lake.

July 3 - July 4: 2010 Hmong Sports Tournament and Freedom Celebration will be held at McMurray Field, in St. Paul's Como Park.

July 4: Independence Day Celebrations at Fort Snelling. Party like it's 1827 at Fort Snelling. Fireworks? Pah. Fort Snelling will be firing real cannons, plus there will be patriotic music and activities.
July 4 - July 10: Pan-O-Prog is one of the longest-running festivals in the Twin Cities, and kicks off on Independence Day in Lakeville with a parade and fireworks. Events and entertainment continue for the rest of the week.
July 7 - July 11: Karl Oskar Days is Chisago County's largest community celebration, honoring it's Swedish heritage. Arts and crafts, a pie baking contest, a parade, and fireworks in Lindstrom.
July 8 - July 11: Monticello Riverfest is one of the largest summer art festivals, and there's entertainment too with a parade and family events.
July 9 and July 10: Basilica Block Party. The 15th annual music festival and party at the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis is a fundraiser for the church. National and local acts play the popular festival.
July 10: Anoka Riverfest and Craft Fair is one of the largest summer craft events. Free boat rides on the Rum and Mississippi rivers, car show, music and family activities in downtown Anoka.
July 10 - July 11: Dragon Festival. The Asian Pacific Heritage Festival at St. Paul's Lake Phalen is Minnesota's largest Pan-Asian cultural festival. Dragon boat racing, children's activities, and performances. Free.
July 11: 78th Annual Norway Day fills Minnehaha Park with music, singing, children's activities, and Norwegian food.
