Minneapolis Parks Concert Season
Minneapolis puts on over 250 concerts at five venues covering just about every musical style. Concerts are held almost every evening beginning in early June at Lake Harriet Band Shell, Minnehaha Park, Father Hennepin Bluffs Park, Bryant Square Park and Nicollet Island Amphitheater.
Minneapolis Parks and Recreation board also hosts comedy, dance, and movies all summer.
Music and Movies in Mears ParkMears Park in downtown St. Paul is the setting for Thursday evening concerts from mid-June until August in 2013. The concerts begin at 6 p.m. and end around 9 p.m.
Artists, food stalls, and various vendors will also be at Mears Park.
St. Paul Music in the Parks
St. Paul's concert season begins on May 12 and runs until September 1 in 2013. Hundreds of afternoon and evening concerts in just about every musical style in Comp Park, Phalen Park, Raspberry Island, and Rice Park in St. Paul. And, St. Paul hosts movies in the parks too
Centennial Lakes Park Family Concerts
Centennial Lakes Park in Edina hosts a family-friendly schedule of music, Monday through Thursday during the summer. There are several children's music concerts and entertainment events are in the daytime, ideal for small children whose bedtime clashes with evening events. There are also free movies in the park after dusk on several dates.
Concerts are held every weekday beginning early June 2 until August 29 in 2013.
