February 23: (Date to be confirmed, check the website for the latest information) Rock the Cradle Minnesota Public Radio presents a children's music event with the opportunity to meet The Current's DJs, storytimes, yoga, crafts, and of course, live music and a disco for tots to dance until naptime.

February 22-24: Winter Golf Competitions There's two indoor golf competitions that benefit local non-profit organizations this weekend. The Skyway Open runs from February 22 until February 24, and has 18 architect-designed holes in Minneapolis' skyways. The scramble golf tournament is open to all, and there's prizes up for grabs for the best golfers. The Skyway Open benefits the Boys and Girls Club.

(And coming soon on March 2, Pub and Putt is a strictly over-21 contest involving 9 pubs and bars in Minneapolis, a miniature golf hole in each, drink specials and an after party. You'll need a team of four and a combined entry fee of $185 to participate, but it's reputed to be a great time, and Pub and Putt raises money for several local charities.)

February 23: 20h Annual Grumpy Old Men Ice Fishing Tournament The Grumpy Old Men movie, set in Wabasha and filmed in nearby locations, was the inspiration for this tournament, held at the Mississippi Parkside Marina in Wabasha. Wabasha is about two hours south of Minneapolis.
