Hooray for May! There's a lot going on in the Twin Cities this month and most people's May calendars are jam packed. What events are happening in Minneapolis and St. Paul this May?
Mayday is May 1. The 35th Annual Heart of the Beast Mayday Parade is held on the first Sunday of May, this year it will be Sunday May 3.
Cinco De Mayo is a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride. A street festival, car show, and food, music and entertainment will fill St. Paul's west side District Del Sol on May 1 and 2. It's the biggest Cinco De Mayo festival in the Midwest.
Mother's Day is May 10. Forget this at your peril!
May 25 is Memorial Day. Several events happen in the Twin Cities for Memorial Day.
Farmer's Markets usually open on the first weekend of May for fresh, locally grown produce.
