June 11 - June 21: American Legion's Midsummer Days North Branch celebrates the 84rd Midsummer Days festival with a parade, carnival rides, street dances and the Midsummer Day's Queen's coronation.

June 18 - June 28: Farmington Rambling River Days - Now Dew Days Again. This festival was originally Mountain Dew Days, Farmington used to drink more of the carbonated beverage than anywhere else in the nation. Abbreviated to Dew Days, the festival was re-named Rambling River Days in recent years, but everyone still called it Dew Days, so now the old name is back. There's over a week of festivities at this community festival. Plenty of children's activities, arts and crafts on display, pageants and live music for the whole family.

June 18 and Thursdays throughout the summer: Music and Movies in District del Sol begins this week. Local bands perform, and outdoor movies in Spanish and English are shown every Thursday evening in St. Paul's District del Sol until the August. Free.

June 18, and Thursdays until July 30: Marketfest is a free family festival in downtown White Bear Lake. A car show, live music, wagon rides, arts and crafts, and more every Thursday evening.

June 18 - June 20: The Twin Cities Jazz Festival kicks off in Mears Park in Downtown St. Paul.

June 19 - June 21: Back to the 50's Weekend Car Show More custom and classic cars than you can imagine fill the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.

June 19 - June 24: I Love Northeast Festival A week of festivities celebrate the 80th anniversary of the annual Northeast Parade. Family events, dances, fireworks, plus events for adults like the Northeast Pub Crawl.

June 20: Midsommar Celebration The American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis celebrates summer with folk arts, food, and fun and games.

June 20: Rock the Garden The Walker Art Center and local indie music radio station the Current host local and national music acts in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden.

June 20: Burnsville International Festival Music and entertainment from around the world.

June 20 - June 21: Stone Arch Festival of the Arts 250 artists, five music stages, a culinary arts quarter, and youth arts in Minneapolis' Riverfront district.

June 21: Father's Day.
