December 11-14: The Holidazzle Parade marches down Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.
December 12-14: Sandstone IceFest A little way out of town, Sandstone is about half-way to Duluth. A celebration of outdoors winter activities, and snow and ice sports. The festival promises ice climbing, snow shoeing, snow kiting, winter camping, beer, chili, and fireworks.
