Official Minnesota State Veterans Day ProgramThe official Minnesota State Veterans Day Program is held at Inver Grove Heights Veterans Memorial Community Center on November 11. The event begins at 8.30 am with a free community breakfast.
The program begins at 10 am, and has speakers Governor Mark Dayton, Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs Commissioner Larry Shellito, Maj. Gen. David Elicerio, U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken, U.S. Representatives Betty McCollum and Keith Ellison, Miss Minnesota 2012 Siri Freeh, and VFW Department of Minnesota Commander Lee Ulferts.

Wayzata Veterans Day Salute - Heritage Park The Lake Minnetonka Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will honor American veterans through its first annual Veterans Day Salute. All community members are invited to to recognize veterans by planting a flag in their honor.
