It's MEA weekend this week, aka Education Minnesota days. The kids have Thursday and Friday off school, as do many college students. What are you going to do with long weekend? Stay in town, or take a trip? There are festivals on the North Shore, classic tourist attractions and destinations to visit before they close for the winter, plus lots going on in town, including free Halloween shows, and the last few days of Valleyfair.
