In France, Bastille Day, the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille during the French Revolution, is celebrated with the same vigor as Independence Day is here in the States.
French restaurants, bars, and cultural institutions are celebrating Bastille Day on the weekend of Saturday July 14, and celebrations roll over onto the 15th too.
