Just a quick note. Perhaps you are thinking about holiday food, but the mention of potatoes reminded me of the terrific fries served at The Weinery in Cedar-Riverside, Minneapolis. Served in quantities of 1 or 2 potatoes, hand cut, freshly fried and seasoned, it's killer to wait for them to cool enough to eat. The hotdogs are rather good too. Must think up of a reason to visit the West Bank soon.
