The University Avenue Project turned the busy St. Paul street into an art gallery. Local photographer Wing Young Huie spent three years photographing residents of the University Avenue area, which were exhibited this summer in businesses and store fronts along University Avenue. Several portraits are still on display along the street.
This weekend, Public Art St. Paul, the curators of the project, are holding a sale of 100 original prints used in the exhibition, and buyers can order prints of any of the 450 photographs from the exhibition.
The sale is on February 27, from 1 pm - 6 pm, at the Dancer's Studio at 1508 University Avenue in St. Paul.
