The first significant snowfall of the year brings the first Snow Emergency in St. Paul.
On Saturday, November 13, beginning at 9:00 p.m., all night plow routes will be plowed. Night plow routes are all arterial and main streets with "Night Plow Route" signs, and the side of north-south residential streets with "Night Plow Route" signs. Parking on night plow routes is banned until the streets are plowed to the curb.
On Sunday morning, November 14, starting at 8.00 a.m., day plow routes will be plowed. That's every other street in St. Paul - the other side of north-south residential streets, and all non-posted east-west residential streets.
More information at the City of St. Paul's website, or by calling the Snow Emergency Hotline on 651 266-PLOW (651-266-7569).
Please pass the word on to family, friends, neighbors, and avoid getting ticketed or towed. And drive safe out there!
