As well as the deal on lodging and lift tickets at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, here's another way to ski or snowboard for less. Welch Village, to celebrate the Winter Olympic Games, is selling 2010/2011 season passes for $99 plus tax, and passes for a family of seven or more for $649 plus tax.
Season passes usually retail for around $300 and up, depending on the time of the year, so this is an amazing deal. Welch Village says that the $99 season passes will be available from February 12 until March 31, and must be purchased in Welch Village's online store.
At least, that's what they say... it's February 12 and their online store says that the discount season passes are not available. I'll be checking back later though...
Edit: The passes are available online now... guess I was too eager checking just past midnight on February 12! Wouldn't this make a great Valentine's Day gift?
