The Urban Assault Ride, a crazy bike race around the city with clues to solve, challenges to complete, and all the beer you can drink afterwards returns to Minneapolis in September.
Why would you want to do this ride? There's more brain work, teamwork, initiative, and silliness required than most bike races. The premise is you and a teammate plot your own route around several checkpoints all across Minneapolis, plus find a few mystery destinations, and complete a challenge at each, which might include bike limbo, inflatables, water and riding bikes that look like they belong in a circus.
And once you are done, the fastest team wins a pair of sweet new bikes, and everyone gets free food, beer and entertainment at the after party. Just in case you didn't get enough of the circus bikes.
Every team also gets a backpack with more free swag, and this year, the organizers say they are bringing more beer for the party.
Here's how fun the Urban Assault Ride was last year. Biking, beer and bouncy castles. What's not to love? Get more information and register at www.urbanassaultride.com.

Last year they only had 8 kegs for 500 people. $65 is a lot of money to get shortchanged in the keg line.
