So did you join the crowds for singing, dancing, sports and sheepdogs at the Irish Fair this weekend? There was authentic Irish rain, and while tornado warnings are less authentic to the Emerald Isle, it's always a good time at the Irish Fair.
This weekend, there's another cultural festival with dancing, drinking and farm animals.
The Twin Cities Polish Festival is August 15 and 16, held in Minneapolis in the Riverfront District. The Polish Festival promises to be a celebration of all things Polish: food, drink, beer, sheepdogs, polka dancing, art and geneology. There will be free polka lessons during the weekend, non-stop dancing and music, and plenty of pierogis and kielbasa.
All the entertainment is free, and the organizers invite everyone with Polish heritage and those without to come and enjoy Polish culture.
