Feeling Artistic? Pioneer Press Accepting Entries for Peeps Diorama Contest
The Pioneer Press is now accepting entries for their sixth annual Peeps Diorama contest. Last year the newspaper received over 500 entries of Peeps acting as celebrities, Peeps molded into famous landmarks, Peeps replicating iconic works of art, Peeps caught in compromising positions, and Peeps indulging in wholesome outdoor activities. Last year's entries used to be viewable online, but sadly no more, a great loss for those wishing to waste time at work, but here's a couple of entries from previous years for inspiration.
Remember those dioramas you used to make at school? If you threw yours together at the last minute, you'll need to raise your game. This is a serious competition. The most popular entries replicate an iconic scene, depict something that's what's hot in pop culture (expect lots of Twilight themed entries) or have a clever play on the name of the marshmallow candy. By the way, "Peep Show" has been done. Many times.
More information, competition rules, and how to submit your entry at the Pioneer Press website. The deadline for entries is April 1.
