Environmentally Friendly Thanksgiving

Saturday November 22, 2008
Local environmentally-friendly retailer Twin Cities Green is hosting a workshop this weekend with tips, recipes, and ideas on how to have a green Thanksgiving. The free workshop will cover using local food, reducing waste, giving green gifts, and there will be samples of organic holiday foods.

Twin Cities Green is one of my must-visit destinations for holiday shopping this year. I'm attempting to spend less this holiday season, but to make every purchase a thoughtful one. I love the gift options at this store, there's jewelery, beauty products, homewares, baby goods, and art, so I think I'll be able to cross several people off my list with one visit here.
