Wild Mountain Ski and Snowboarding Area is Open

Wednesday October 29, 2008
It's cold enough to make snow in Taylors Falls, and Wild Mountain Ski and Snowboarding Area opened for the season yesterday. It's the first ski and snowboard resort to open in the Midwest.

Wild Mountain say that they will be able to make enough snow to stay open all winter, unless there is a prolonged period of heavy rain.

Wild Mountain is just over an hours drive northeast of the Twin Cities. The runs are open weekday afternoons and evenings, and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
