FLEECED: You Reap What You Sow Halloween Puppet Show at Hidden Falls

Tuesday October 21, 2008
The Bedlam Theater and Barebones Productions are putting on their fourth annual Halloween puppet show at Hidden Falls park in St. Paul. This year's show, FLEECED: You Reap What You Sow is loosely based on the myth of Jason and the Argonauts, and promises packs of wild dogs, fire breathing bulls, harpies on stilts, murder, sacrifice, live music and giant puppets.

Hidden Falls is a beautiful park on the east bank of the Mississippi River, but I can imagine it would be a spooky place to be after dark. This should be a very atmospheric show and I'm looking forward to it. It's likely to be unsuitable for younger children.

The shows are free, but donations are accepted.

Performances begin at dusk, around 7 p.m. on October 25, 26 and 31, and November 1.

More information at Barebones Productions website.

I was so disappointed by this show, so much so that I have been running all over town spouting its wickedness. (even wrote a blog!)

Although really, I know so much work was put into this and I love that….but seriously, just take your own convoluted advice and don’t exploit your craft for cheap dogma.
