Maplewood Nature Center Events

Saturday October 18, 2008
The Maplewood Nature Center, a fun and educational place to see wild flowers, birds and wildlife in the summer, is transitioning to winter nature programs this month. As the weather turns cold outside, the center is offering free nature programs for families. Find out how to make a bird feeder, how to make animal habitats in your back yard, and discover what animals do during the winter.

The center is open five days a week, all through the winter. On a fine winter day, the outdoor trails are accessible on foot or by snowshoe, and inside, there's an pond, animals to meet, exhibits and a children's play area.
