CSI: The Experience at the Science Museum of Minnesota
A new exhibit opened this week at the Science Museum of Minnesota, in downtown St. Paul. CSI: The Experience is a collaboration between the CBS network, the cast and crew of the CSI television show, the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, and the National Science Foundation.
Visitors are invited to examine three mysterious crime scenes, record observations, and collect evidence for analysis in the laboratory. Real forensic techniques are used including studying DNA, examining hair and fibers, collecting fingerprints, and attempting to identify unknown substances.
Admission to the CSI: The Experience exhibit is included in the regular museum admission price, but admission to the exhibit is timed and there are limited tickets available each day, so it's advisable to buy tickets in advance at the museum's box office, or website.
CSI: The Experience will be at the Science Museum of Minnesota until January 4 2009.
