Heart of the Beast Puppet Shows Return October 4

In the Heart of the Beast, the puppet theater on Minneapolis' Lake Street, begins it's popular Saturday puppet shows and workshops this weekend.

This Saturday, Open Eye Figure Theatre presents The Adventures of Juan Bobo, in which Juan Bobo has to save the day after devils steal love, food and music from the world.

There's a different show every week. The puppet shows are performed at 10 a.m. and noon.

A Make-n-take puppet making workshop is held in between the performances, at 11 a.m.

HOBT requests a donation of $1 for local residents, and $3 donation for those who live outside the Central, Corcoran, Phillips or Powderhorn neighborhoods.
