Unwanted Furniture? Donate it to Bridging, Help Needy Families
Homeless families, families escaping domestic violence, those who have lost their possessions to fires, floods or other natural disasters, and people who have fallen on all kinds of hard times are all helped by Bridging Inc. Individuals and families shop for beds, kitchen wares, lamps and other basic furniture and household goods to help them set up a new home.
All the items given to families are donated. Gently used household goods of all kinds are gladly accepted at both locations, and Bridging Inc. also collects from selected zip codes in the Twin Cities. Donating to Bridging is an excellent thing to do with unwanted furniture, not only is it saved from going to the landfill, but it's tax deductible and will help a family in need.
You can still help Bridging Inc. if you don't have any furniture to donate. They always need volunteers to help out with repairing furniture and electrical goods, driving, helping clients shop, and many other vital roles.
