Pizza Luce Block Party! Saturday August 9, Uptown

Pizza Luce celebrates it's customers at the sixth annual Pizza Luce Block Party is this weekend. This event would be worth going to just for the pizza, but the line-up of local musicians (The Crossing Guards, Kill the Vultures, Night in a Box, The Rockford Mules, The Hawaii Show, The Evening Rig, The Millionth Word, Charlie Parr, The Keepaways, Romantica, and The Brass Kings) is just as tasty. I'm getting there early to catch Romantica, Irish-Minnesotan alternative folk rockers who are scheduled to play at 1 p.m.

There will be pizza by the slice, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for sale. The Block Party is open to all ages and admission is free.
