Fore! Mini Golf in Minneapolis and St. Paul
Derided by serious golfers, but a lot of fun for the rest of us who don't know and don't care what the difference between a putter and a birdie is, a round of mini golf is a lot of summer fun.
The Walker Art Center currently has two Walker on the Green artist-designed mini golf courses in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. The temporary golf courses, designed by Minnesota artists, designers and architects, are intended to highlight socially responsible design. The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden has free admission, and there's an $8 adults/$5 children charge to play golf.
In St. Paul, the Science Museum of Minnesota's Big Back Yard EarthScapes permanent mini golf course has plenty of water hazards. The 30,000 square-foot course includes streams and rivers designed to illustrate how water has shaped the landscape. Mini golfers have to pay the museum admission charge plus an extra charge for a round of golf, except on summer evenings where visitors can pay $5 adults/$4 children and seniors for admission to the Big Back Yard and a round of golf between 5 p.m. and dusk.

Well Written. Mini Golf Course Design is really a great idea. When designed correctly, your miniature golf course will give players an exciting challenge without making them frustrated at the difficulty of individual holes.
