Average Gas Prices Top $4 Nationwide: Twin Cities to Follow Soon

Monday June 9, 2008
As gas prices creep ever-higher, today, the national average price for a gallon of gas topped $4 on Sunday. In the Twin Cities, we are slightly below the national average, although it's still rather painful filling up.

The average price in Minneapolis and St. Paul is currently $3.89, but several stations are selling $3.99 gas so it seems inevitable that we'll be paying $4 in the near future.

Where is the cheapest gas in your neighborhood? Twin Cities Gas Prices is a user-updated website to help drivers find the cheapest fuel in the area. You can also help other drivers by adding gas prices you've seen to the website.

At least we don't have to pay Reno, NV prices. Yet. Doesn't it hurt to laugh?

How high do you think gas prices will go? When do you think we'll see $5 gas in the Twin Cities? Click here to talk about it in our forum!
