Arbor Day, April 25: Free Trees at McDonalds

McDonalds, Minnesota Forest Industries, and KARE 11 TV have joined up to give away thousands of tree seedlings on Friday April 25, Arbor Day.

57,000 Red Pine seedlings - the Minnesota state tree - will be given to McDonalds customers at 225 participating McDonalds in Minnesota of Friday. No purchase is necessary.

This is the seventh annual state tree giveaway. Many people have collected a tree every year, and have a mini-forest in their back yards grown from the seedlings. State Tree Giveaway
