It's often said we have two seasons: winter, and roadwork. Our roads take a lot of beating, experiencing sub-zero temperatures, sweltering heat, abuse from snow plows and a relatively short time that crews can work on the roads. Potholes are caused by water seeping into cracks in the road, freezing and thawing, and breaking apart the pavement. This winter has been especially cold and the city of Minneapolis and St. Paul are reporting a "bumper crop" of potholes this roadwork season.
Where's the worst pothole in the Twin Cities? What do the crews need to get to first? Report potholes with the links below, and save someone's tires today.
