Free Electronic Waste Recycling: April 11 and 12

Tuesday April 1, 2008
Gather up your obsolete cell phones, broken printers and ancient computers. Waste Management is holding a free electronic waste recycling event on Friday April 11 and Saturday April 12.

Five locations across the Twin Cities, including the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, will be open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m accepting most small consumer goods for recycling. Here's a list of what you can and can't bring, and the five locations.

And a bonus for recycling: everyone dropping off a item for recycling will receive a discount coupon for the Earthfest event at Minnesota Zoo, happening the following weekend, April 19 and 20.
