Summit Hill Is Ready to Welcome Spring

It was a beautiful, sunny day in the Twin Cities today. OK, it was minus 20 degrees with the wind chill, but it reminded me that winter is nearly over, and spring is just around the corner. Soon we'll be strolling down one of the Twin Cities' chic boulevards or avenues, then stopping for a glass of something cold on the patio of a bar, and watching the world go by.

Selby Avenue in St. Paul's Summit Hill is just north of eponymous Grand Avenue. It's less touristy and more interesting for people watching. A great place to be on a spring day, with a fine selection of independent stores, bars and restaurants, many with patios for the aforementioned people watching. If you want to make a morning, afternoon or even day of it you can follow this walking tour of Selby Avenue and Summit Hill's other attractions.
